GOPEGARH, ARABARI FOREST, GONGONI (2 Nights/ 3 Days)
Gopegarh is an eco park just on the outskirts of Medinipur covering 174 hectares of land. It is the site of an old dilapidated fort of the Gope Kings on the bank of River Kansai amidst an eco park. There’s a watch tower for the tourists to witness the mesmeric sunset on the banks of River Kansai. There is also a huge nature park with boating facilities and cottages. Arabari Forest Range is just 30 kilometers from Medinipur town. The predominant tree of the forest is sal and herds of wild elephants from the Dalma range often enter Arabari. Gongoni is often termed as Bengal’s Grand Canyon. It is a naturally formed canyon on the banks of River Shilabati in West Midnapur.

Day 1: At about 8am start by Tata sumo from Howrah station reach Gopgarh around 1.00pm . After taking lunch around 3.30pm visit Gurgoria Eco Park. Night stay at Gopegarh.
Day 2: Whole day sight seeing at Arabari Forest Gongoni, Basanta Roy temple (Historical place), Nandan Kanan (an Eco park) and back to Gopegarh and night stay.
Day 3: After lunch at 11am, we start from Gopegarh and around 6pm we reach Howrah.
