SIMLIPAL FOREST (3 Nights/4 Days)

Simlipal National Park, is a 2,750 square-kilometer wildlife sanctuary and a Project Tiger Reserve in Mayurbhanj District of Orissa. Populated with hills, dense foliage and 400-metre drop Barehipani waterfall, the Tiger Reserve hides nearly 95 tigers, deers, elephants, leopards, gaur bisons, sloth bears, reptiles, langurs, crocodiles, more than 200 species of birds and 82 species of orchids.

Distance:  250 km (approx) from Kolkata by road.
Nearest Town:  Baripada
Day 1:  At 8.00 we start by Tata sumo from Howrah station for Bangriposi (6 hrs. journey) and night stay at O.T.D.C bungalow.
Day 2:  After breakfast journey to Sulaipat Dam (on Kharkui river) – Badam Pahar (Iron Khadan) and back to Joshipur (O.T.D.C.) bungalow and night stay.
Day 3: At morning 6 am we will go to Joshipur forest department for day permission of Simlipal wild life sanctuary and after breakfast , start for ‘Simlipal Wild Life Sanctuary’ by Sumo/Safari (whole day program) and return to Ramtirtham Crocodile project of Joshipur (night stay).
Day 4:  After lunch return journey to Howrah. Around 4.30pm we reach Howrah station.
